Hi, I’m Aysha!
My path to community-building didn’t start with a business plan, it started with noticing how isolating entrepreneurship and creative work can feel in a city that never slows down. Through my work in media, storytelling, and creative spaces, I’ve spent years connecting with women who are building something of their own, often without the support, access, or community they deserve.
Babes In Business NYC exists to change that.
This community is built around connection over competition. We do networking differently, by creating intentional, welcoming spaces where women can show up as they are, build real relationships, and grow alongside others who understand the realities of building a business or creative career in New York City. Our events are designed to feel genuine, energizing, and human; they are not transactional or performative.
At its core, Babes In Business NYC is about proximity, collaboration, and momentum. It’s about being in rooms that feel supportive, inspiring, and aligned, and most importatnl leaving with connections that extend beyond a single night.
My goal is to cultivate a community that feels grounded in a fast-paced city, and empowering without pressure. A place where ambition and authenticity can coexist, and where women are encouraged to grow at their own pace, together.
